Welcome to Cardiff Harlequins website
Welcome to Cardiff Harlequins – formerly known as Cardiff High School Old Boys.
We have a proud history history stretches back to 1921. In 1962 a long-standing ambition was achieved when the Old Boys became one of the few clubs in Wales to own its own ground outright. Situated in a delightful environment on the edge of Cardiff, the Diamond ground (named after a former headmaster of Cardiff High) has hosted many rugby events over the years, including matches in the Women’s World Cup. It is frequently used for training purposes by visiting national teams.
The club currently boasts 3 mens seniors team a ladies team and a vibrant youth and juniors section including 3 boys teams (under 14,16,19) and 2 girls teams (under 15 and under 18). The club is also linked to the Welsh Language juniors club Cricc which has 7 teams from under 7 to under 14.
As if that wasn’t enough we have Running, Lacrosse and Pentanque Sections and a number of exercise classes in the evening.
The club includes excellent playing and training facilities (including 3 pitches) and a gym. The clubhouse is available for hire for parties(including 18th birthday parties) and special occasions. For information about how to make a booking please click here.
We are truly at the heart of our local community, and we look forward to welcoming you.
